About The Idiots
Every brand starts with an idea.
Ours started with a question.
"What if we stopped overthinking and just started building?"
Where It All Began
The story of The Idiots began during our college days.
Like many students, we had big dreams but very little money, very little experience, and absolutely no roadmap.
We tried different ideas, explored different industries, and spent countless hours trying to figure out what we were actually passionate about.
Some ideas failed. Some never got started. Some taught us lessons.
But every experiment helped us understand one thing: we loved building things from scratch.
The Search For Something Meaningful
After college, the search continued.
We explored different paths, learned new skills, and tried to discover where we truly belonged.
Eventually, that journey led into technology.
I started working as a Python Developer and spent nearly two years building software, solving problems, and learning how systems work.
The job gave me stability. It gave me experience. Most importantly, it gave me the ability to fund a dream.
The Perfume Experiments
Outside office hours, a different journey had already begun.
A journey into fragrances.
What started as curiosity slowly became obsession.
Learning about fragrance notes. Studying ingredients. Understanding scent profiles. Experimenting with blends. Testing ideas. Making mistakes. Starting over.
Every bottle was another lesson. Every formula was another experiment.
And surprisingly, the people around me noticed.
Friends. Colleagues. Team members.
They loved the fragrances I was creating.
They asked questions. They wanted bottles. They wanted more.
For the first time, it felt like this idea could become something real.
From Side Project To Startup
The biggest challenge wasn't passion. It was money.
Starting a brand requires investment. Inventory. Packaging. Testing. Website development. Marketing. Operations.
Things that most people never see.
At that time, we simply didn't have enough resources to launch immediately.
So we made a decision: Work. Learn. Save. Build slowly.
Every month, a portion of salary went back into the dream.
Eventually, we gathered enough savings to take the first serious step.
We invested our own money. We took financial risks. We even accepted loans to help move the idea forward.
Not because success was guaranteed.
But because some dreams are worth betting on.
Why The Name "The Idiots"?
Because every ambitious dream looks a little stupid in the beginning.
People often wait for the perfect moment. The perfect plan. The perfect resources.
We didn't. We started anyway.
The Idiots is a reminder that progress belongs to the people willing to take the first step, even when they don't have everything figured out.
Sometimes the people who look like idiots today become the people everyone talks about tomorrow.
What We Believe
We believe premium fragrances shouldn't feel out of reach.
We believe confidence can come from something as simple as a scent.
We believe great products are built through consistency, not shortcuts.
And most importantly, we believe small beginnings should never limit big ambitions.
Our Mission
To create high-quality fragrances that make people feel confident, memorable, and expressive without paying luxury-brand prices.
Every product we launch is a step toward building something much bigger than perfume.
A brand. A community. A story worth remembering.
The Future
Today, The Idiots is still a small startup.
We are learning every day. Improving every day. Growing every day.
But this is only the beginning.
The goal is not simply to sell perfume.
The goal is to build one of India's most loved fragrance brands.
And one day, when that happens, we will still remember the small room, the experiments, the late nights after office hours, and the people who believed in us from the very beginning.
